Interviewing actress Sarah Lynn Dawson again

1-As always a pleasure to interview you, how have you handled the pandemic?   Thank you Carlos and likewise! I have had an OK time. I was fortunately able to perform on zoom as part of a few online theatre groups - so thankfully I was still able to act. We did a number of classics, Shakespeare, Chekov, Ibsen - so it was challenging and fun. I also got to work with some great actors and actresses during the process and many have become friends, even though we haven’t met in person. The pandemic also gave me some time to go back and work on some film scripts and ideas that I was too busy to before. I was lucky that I have had the experience of writing and working from home, so it wasn’t a large adjustment, but the isolation was difficult.   It has harmed you when it comes to having projects?   At first many Film and TV sets shut down, but with the hard work of the Unions and the Covid protocols, filming was able to resume. I just filmed a role in the film ‘Lo

"Hamilton" (2020) the best of the best

Hamilton is a 2020 American musical drama film written by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail. The film is a recording of Miranda's Broadway musical of the same name, which in turn is inspired by the 2004 biography Alexander Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow. The film stars Miranda in the titular role of Treasury Secretary and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, along with the original Broadway cast of the musical. Hamilton was released on July 3, 2020 on Disney+ by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film was acclaimed by critics for its visuals, performances, and direction.       Hamilton is the story of the unlikely Founding Father determined to make his mark on the new nation as hungry and ambitious as he is. From bastard orphan to Washington’s right-hand man, rebel to war hero, a loving husband caught in the country’s first sex scandal, to the Treasury head who made an untrusting world believe in the American economy.     1-As always, a pleasure to interview you, how have you handled the pandemic? Firstly, I wish to thank you Carlos for this interview, it’s been quite some time since the last time and for me it’s always a pleasure being interviewed by you. Regarding the pandemic, I had Covid-19 during end of January 2021 although I was able to confine myself at home with my family, I had a hard time specially the third week when I had breathing problems, but I was very fortunate to overcome it without the need to be hospitalised.   How has it affected you when it comes to projects? As for everyone in any industry it has affected us all very negatively although I must say that I was quite lucky and blessed to have been able to work in four projects during this time: “The Cake” short film directed by Andrés Eguiguren, “And Tomorrow We’ll Be Dead” feature film directed by Mike Steiner, “La Unidad” second season TV series for Movistar+ directed by Dani de la Torre and “The Future Awaits”

"I was born for the cinema"

Image
I was born on December 18, 1987 in Oviedo (Asturias) Spain. From a very young age I remember that the cinema caught my attention, the way the actors act, I saw everything, in the 90s I remember my theatrical performances at Christmas, what I liked was rehearsing the play every afternoon I perfectly remember the years 1996 -1997-1998-1999 what good memories, stepping on a stage gave me life, once I am on stage I am completely immersed in the role. Years pass and the typical thing that your family tells you that being an actor is useless, for years I stopped acting, but I read many plays, I was offered to act on several occasions, but I began to have stage fright. The good thing that I am glad to know, that they tell me that I have a good voice, the truth is that I take great care of my voice. Until it occurred to me to create a blog in 2018 writing about cinema and theater but I wanted more and in 2019 I began to interview actors and actresses until the beginning of 2021, but we go in
