"Winterthorne" Series (2015) Kathleen Gati's first Emmy nomination

  Is a soap opera web series that premiered on August 27, 2015 at Winterthorne.com. Starring Martha Madison as Miranda Winterthorne, the ruthless matriarch of a candy dynasty, the series was created, written and executive produced by Michael Caruso. Caruso previously created the web soap DeVanity, which ran from 2011 to 2014. In 2016, Winterthorne received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Digital Daytime Drama Series. Kathleen Gati was nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for her portrayal of Valentina Winterthorne, and Kevin Spirtas was nominated for Outstanding Actor in a Digital Daytime Drama Series for playing Dominic Delacort.   General Hospital was created by Frank and Doris Hursley and premiered on April 1, 1963. The first stories were mainly set on the seventh floor of General Hospital, in an unnamed midsize Eastern city (the name of the city, Port Charles, would not be mentioned until the late 1970s). "They had this concept of the show that it was like a big wagon wheel – the spokes would be the characters and the hub would be the hospital," John Beradino (Steve Hardy) later reflected to Entertainment Weekly in 1994.   Launched in 1963, the first stories were mainly set at General Hospital in an unnamed midsized Eastern city. The name of the city, Port Charles, would not be mentioned until 1976 by headwriters Eileen and Robert Mason Pollock.   1-As always a pleasure to interview you, how have you handled the pandemic?   As graciously and patiently as possible. My husband and I try to find the silver lining in all this. We have spent time discovering different ways to live, to entertain ourselves, and most importantly we have learned that each day is a gift, not just because we are getting older, but because we see how precious life is, witnessing many friends, colleagues and fans die from this terrible virus, among other things. So we have learned to have more gratitude for each day. And I found out on my birthday and on New Year’s Eve, when my husband usually takes me out for dinner, but since COVID we mostly dine at home, that he is an excellent cook, a secret he has been keeping from me!   1- As always a pleasure to interview you, how have you handled the pandemic?, It has hurt you when it comes to having projects.   For me the pandemic has given me a lot of reflection on life Iv ran a lot during all the lockdowns and it gave me a since off peace and the feeling off being free . Yeah off course it has changed the industry a lot of feature new films have not received funding, only the older productions that’s have continued ,commercial work has been cut too due to the covid restrictions, But I feel it’s been like a re awaking for actors ,writers ,directors and artist in a sense Because people are making art ,beautiful independence filim not of the business but for the art the message or the expression ,   2- What new projects do you have for 2022?   I’m working on a new feature filim soon called.( when we were guys) Written by Simon Izzo based in Hollywood in the 90s I play a character called ocean she’s a bit off a bad girl to say the least ,I don’t want to give away t
