Interviewing actress and singer Alexis Lace

1.- How was your childhood? Truth be told, it wasn’t the best! You see I was born in a small city in South Western France and being the big city girl that I am at heart, life seemed pretty boring for me. Life also threw a lot of challenges at me. Probably way more than a child should expect to endure. On the bright side, it has made me appreciate my adult life. I’m in a much better place now. Getting rid of your demons is a long process, but the main thing is actually getting there eventually! 2.- From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV and in the movies? When I was 11, I decided I was going to be a singer…. I started writing songs at 12. But my plan B was acting. I really wanted to do both to be honest. I never really knew whether I was good, I just kinda jumped into it. I have had a lot of training but I also suffer from the infamous impostor syndrome. I have reached a stage in my life where I no longer care what others thin

Interviewing actress Kathleen Gati (General Hospital)

  1. How does it feel to be in a series with 50 years of history?  It is an honor to be part of such a legacy! General Hospital will celebrate its 60th anniversary on April 1st! Unbelievable, no? And it is also an honor to be on a show that incredible actors have graced like Elizabeth Taylor. To me the best part is that there is a “General Hospital family” that I am a part of that consists of our show and the audience. We are very fortunate to meet many fans during the year at different events or just through social media, and to know that they have grown up watching our show with their mothers and grandmothers or friends, and to know how big a part of their lives we are is fantastic! And sometimes we hear that a viewer who has been watching for many years is sick or lost a loved one, and for one hour while they’re watching our show, it helped them forget about their troubles a little. That is worth more than an Emmy or an Oscar! 2. What is your day-to-day like on the set of General Ho

1-. How was your childhood? I’m the eldest with a younger sister and brother, my father and mother were very loving. Dad was ex Army. We lived in a three bedroom rented house with a big vegetable garden. We were well fed and warm. Sadly my father had a bad industrial accident when I was 10 and he was in and out of hospital for a long time, that was a hard time for us all. He died aged 62 I still think of him every day. I wasn’t particularly academic at school, I was the joker of the class. Hated english and mathematics classes…loved music, cooking. 2. - From what age did you decide to be an actor and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV?
