1. How was your childhood? I had a wonderfully enriching childhood, supported by a creative, musical family of 7. Growing up surrounded by music and performance, I was naturally drawn to the stage. My family even had a band that performed at various events, where I sang and played percussion. While I love dancing and singing, acting has always been my deepest passion, as it allows me to explore complex emotions and connect with audiences in profound ways. 2. From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? I decided to pursue acting after college, where I studied Sociology at the University of Oregon. Balancing school and my artistic pursuits taught me discipline, and dance played a key role in shaping my understanding of movement and expression. After graduating, I fully dedicated myself to acting, and it was in the world of film where I found my true calling. Positive feedback, four Best Actress awards in independent fi...

How was your childhood? Heavily romanticized by my own doing. I was an athlete, a goofball, and a visionary. I started making films with my friends as a teenager on an old VHS camcorder. I lived in a fantasy world and I could never travel enough. My interests and personality changed as often as I changed my clothes. I felt emotions very deeply from a young age. From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? I loved to portray characters from as young as 13, but didn’t put it fully to screen until I was in my mid-late twenties. I was making funny content online and someone told me I should try and get into acting. I always assumed I’d direct, but at the time I didn’t have the resources, so I answered local casting calls instead. I kept getting cast with no experience so that’s how I knew I had some sort of natural skill. Did your parents support you in the decision you made to be an actress? 100%. They always knew I wa...

1-. How was your childhood?    Chaotic, to say the least. 2. - From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had theskills to go on TV?  I’ve always had the desire to become either an actor or a writer, but I‘m certain it started when I first saw Tom Hanks on screen. The way he portrays each character is outstanding and made me think “I wish that someday, I’ll be able to touch people with my acting the same way Tom Hanks does”.   3. - Did your parents support you in the decision you made to be an actress?   Not from the beginning. Let’s say they weren’t too thrilled when I first mentioned it. Later on, when they first saw me on stage, they changed their mind though.    4. - What was your first appearance on the screens?  It was a pretty embarrassing commercial about a German insurance agency.     5. - What was the role you liked the most?    It was Ilse from the German play “Frühlingserwache...

1. How did you get started in the film industry and what led you to become a producer? I owned a media store (1988-2012). But I founded my first producing company 2003 (Dreamfilms GmbH) and produced music videos, short films and opening films for two Star Wars conventions. It was just for fun, but after I had to close my media store, because this business was no longer profitable, I worked in several positions for German films, as line producer, production manger etc. and I learned the producer job by working on these films. 2. What have been your main influences in filmmaking? My main influences have been the movies of the 70s and 80s, especially the movies from George Lucas and Steven Spielberg.  3. Can you describe your work process when selecting a project to produce? After receiving a script and my producing partner and I decide to work on the project we  will prepare a script report and work with the writer on a final script. Then we choose a director and dis...

1-. How was your childhood? During my childhood, I experienced many ups and downs. I moved frequently because my father served in the military, and he is now retired. As a result, I spent part of my childhood in Virginia Beach, where I also attended school. This experience helped me become fluent in English, which I continue to speak with ease today. I am also the oldest of four siblings, and growing up with them was an enjoyable experience. However, I left home at a young age and had to become more or less independent early on. 2. - From what age did you decide to be an actress and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? "I can't quite recall the exact age when I decided to become an actress, but I do remember that as a child, I always chose theater as an elective at school. Interestingly, and probably something many wouldn’t expect, I used to sing opera as a child and even took private singing lessons. To answer your question, as I grew older, I rea...

1-. How was your childhood? It had it's ups and downs I guess. I was loved. We were poor as shit. Like mayonnaise sandwiches poor early on, but I had a roof over my head and a warm bed. Things got a little better by highschool. I got to spend a fair amount of time with my grandparents. One of my grandma's taught me how to draw and paint. A skill I still use to this day. 2-. From what age did you decide to be a actor and filmmaker and how did you know you had the skills to go on TV? I always wanted to be an actor. It seemed super interesting to me. But I grew up in Iowa and the opportunity for acting in movies is pretty slim plus being poor isn't conducive to paying for acting classes, headshots, etc. Instead I started making music when I was about 13. I bought a drum machines and sampler. Eventually I ended up starting a band called Bad Fathers. We toured the country and made music for a decade. We moved out to L.A. In 2005 and that's when I got to start doing a littl...
